Anaheim vs Calgary: NHL Western Conference Semifinal Game One Prediction
Ducks look to avoid another early playoff exit
Since they claimed the Stanley Cup Championship during the 2006-07 NHL playoffs - it’s been slim pickings for the Ducks in the postseason. Not counting their recent 4-0 sweep of the Winnipeg Jets, Anaheim has lost five of seven playoff series since their magical 16-4 roll in 2007. To say the Ducks have owned the Flames in Anaheim is an understatement as the California Crew has won 19 straight games at the Honda Center versus Calgary. We expect that trend to continue in this series.
Cinderella Flames have been playing with fire all season long
It’s often said that good teams are also lucky. However, it’s also well documented that good luck can run out at anytime. Calgary has a well earned “find a way Flames” nickname but getting down early in games, as they have so many times this season, would be lethal versus the Ducks. Calgary will also have to deal with an Anaheim team that is big, strong, fast and experienced. As good as it has been for Flames fans and the City of Calgary, the storybook season is about to end in the Stampede City.
Ducks vs Flames NHL Prediction: We are of the opinion that the end will arrive sooner rather than later for the Flames. As such we will align with Anaheim to win Game One with a 500 unit wager on the money line price posted at the BetOnline Sportsbook. Check out the NHL playoff props at BetOnline and get in the game. The wagering windows are wide open up to and during tonight's contest.
