Why Alvarez Will Win?
For starters, there's a solid reason why the experts are heavily backing Canelo in the Alvarez-Saunders betting line. It's his resume. Canelo has never shirked a challenge. He's fought all the best fighters out there.
Alvarez has stepped inside the squared circle to face Floyd Mayweather, Gennady Golovkin, Sergey Kovalev, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., Amir Khan, Miguel Cotto, and Shane Mosley. Only Mayweather was able to defeat him. No less a source than former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson is anticipating an easy knockout victory for Canelo.

While posting a career record of 55-1-2 with 37 knockouts, Canelo has won titles in four different weight classes. Considered the pound-for-pound best fighter in boxing today, he's proven capable of quickly dispatching and dominating lesser opponents, while also showing the skill and ring savvy to eke out close decisions against some of the most talented fighters in the game.
Saunders Won't Be A Pushover
It's a bit surprising how easily the experts are willing to scoff at what Saunders has accomplished in the ring based on the Alvarez-Saunders betting line. His unorthodox southpaw stance could present problems for Canelo, although it should be noted that in his last bout against a lefty, Alvarez knocked out James Kirkland in the third round.

Granted, his resume of opponents doesn't read like a who's who of boxing royalty in the same manner that Canelo's does, but the fact of the matter is that everyone who's stood in front of Saunders in the ring has gone down to defeat. He's 30-0. That can't be ignored.
Britain's Saunders is a very technically sound fighter and in past bouts, that style of fighter has presented problems for Alvarez. He lost to Mayweather, drew with Golovkin, and then later squeaked past him in a controversial decision in the rematch.
When Will It End?
Among the prop wagers on offer for this bout is one that asks bettors to select when the fight will end. The total set in the Alvarez-Saunders Vegas odds is 10.5 rounds.

Based on their recent bouts, longer looks to be the way to play this prop. For Saunders, six of his last eight fights have gone the distance. In the case of Alvarez, he's worked at least 11 rounds during six of his last eight times in the ring.
What Will the Outcome Be?
Saunders won't go easily for Alvarez, but he will go eventually. Canelo is simply too talented. Only Mayweather, the absolute best fighter on the planet at the time, has proven capable of getting the better of the talented Mexican.

In a prop asking what the exact ending will be for this bout, Alvarez by decision or technical decision is the best bet.
