Washington come into this game as underdogs who are overperforming, but are deserving of their place having reached the playoffs for the first time since 2020. A regular season record of 12-5 earned them a spot in the Wild Card round, as they finished behind the Eagles in the NFC East.

But since getting to the post-season they have proven themselves to be deserving, claiming a 23-20 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their Wild Card round clash before a stunning game against the No.1 seed the Detroit Lions last time out as they earned a brilliant 45-31 win as they scored 28 points in the second quarter alone.

The Eagles bounced back from a disappointing season last year by going 14-3 in the regular season and winning the NFC East. Philadelphia won 12 of their last 13 games, including a run of ten in a row, before facing off with the Green Bay Packers in the Wild Card round - where they claimed a comfortable 22-10 win.

They then faced off against the Los Angeles Rams last time out and earned a 28-22 victory thanks to a big sack in the last minute of the game from Jalen Carter, getting them back to this stage for the second time in three years.

NFL Picks: Philadelphia Eagles to win @ -240

Washington and Philadelphia will go head-to-head for the third time this season, with both sides owning a win over the other already.

The Eagles won the first meeting of the season back in Week 11 with a 26-18 scoreline, while the Commanders snapped Philly's ten-game winning streak with a stunning 36-33 win in Week 16.

While fledgling quarterback like Jayden Daniels is absolutely flying right now and leading the Commanders to something great, he has never been in this position before and will be coming under huge pressure in this game to overcome a very solid Eagles defense.

Philadelphia QB Jalen Hurts got hurt in the win over the Rams which may be affecting the betting line at the moment, but he is expected to be fine alongside Saquon Barkley. If both can go at near 100 percent, then they should have too much for Washington over four quarters of post-season football. It's also worth noting that Washington's win earlier in the season came with Hurts off the field due to concussion too.

The value is in a home win on the moneyline, so take it.

Buffalo Bills v Kansas City Chiefs information

  • AFC Championship Game

Buffalo were always expected to be in the mix this season, and they have matched expectations with an excellent 13-4 regular season that saw them claim the No.2 seed in the AFC, largely thanks to a big seven-game winning streak in the middle of the campaign. They also proved to be on the best offensive units in the NFL by going on a run that saw them score 30+ points in eight consecutive games, a run not matched by anyone else in the league this season.

They took on the Denver Broncos in the Wild Card round and cruised to a 31-7 win, not conceding a single point beyond the first quarter. That set up a clash with the Baltimore Ravens last time out, where they were forced to dig in and defend their 21-10 half-time lead in order to go 10-0 at home for the season for the first time since 1990.

The Chiefs were also expected to be there again in the post-season having won the last two Super Bowl's, and looking to become the first team ever to win three in a row. They won their first ten games of the season, before the Bills snapped that run and handed them their first defeat of the season en route to a 15-2 record.

They were then disappointing in their clash with the Houston Texans last time out, where a defensive masterclass and some questionable refereeing saw them claim a late 23-14 win.

NFL Picks: Under 48.5 total match points @ -115

Kansas' offense has looked out of ideas in recent times outside of Patrick Mahomes finding Travis Kelce, and so the defense is the reason they are where they are.

So it's no shock that the Under is the way to go here, especially when you consider that the Chiefs are 1-6 in the Over/Under count in their last seven overall and six of their last nine home games in the post-season have gone Under too. Seven of their nine home games this season have gone under 48.5 total points also.

Buffalo score a lot of points but the Chiefs will be doing all they can to slow them down and will want to avoid a shootout at all costs, especially considering the 30-21 defeat earlier in the season. With plenty of potential for an upset, big action could see more movement on the line and therefore the Under 48.5 line may not be there for too long. Take it while you can.
