Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson preview
As much as this is a spectacle for the casual boxing fan, there aren't many people who really want this fight to go ahead because of Tyson's age.
It's been almost 20 years since he retired. and Paul is someone who many in the industry don't consider to be a legitimate member of the sport. However, "The Problem Child" is adamant he will reach world level and compete for a world title at some point.
Paul's basic boxing skills are not the strongest, with his jab decent but often leaving his chin exposed and his defense questionable at best. However, he does have fantastic power in his hands and has shown an ability to knock out seasoned fight veterans in the past.
Tyson must be at his best defensively as a result of his age and physical decline, but he is naturally powerful and explosive and if he lands flush on Paul there is every chance he takes his head off. It would also be smart for both fighters to attack the body despite it being a shorter fight than usual, with Tyson's ferocious power and hooks a good weapon if he can get inside the pockets.

Boxing Picks: Jake Paul to win on the cards @ +275
There's no doubting that Tyson is the better technical boxer and more powerful fighter, but Mother Nature remains undefeated and a 58-year-old simply shouldn't be in the ring - regardless of the opponent.
In a straight technical fight then you'd expect the former heavyweight champion to come out on top, so expect Paul to make it an ugly brawl and use his physical attributes to really wear on "Iron" Mike.
It's unlikely that he puts Tyson's lights out, simply because it wouldn't be such a great look for him or the event if an old man got hurt badly. But as the fight goes on he should be able to take over physically and push the pace and land enough shots to earn the decision on the judge's scorecards.
