Favorites to win F1 Monaco Grand Prix 2024
Below you'll find a list of favorites to win the Formula 1 2024 Monaco Grand Prix.
Max Verstappen - Red Bull (-140)
Without a doubt the best driver in the sport right now, Verstappen is on fire and returned to winning ways in the most recent outing in Italy last weekend.
The Dutch driver has won five of seven this season and currently sits top of the Drivers' Championship standings with 161 points, 48 points clear of his nearest rival.
Last year in Monte Carlo he got the victory with a dominant performance on the iconic track, finishing over 27 seconds ahead of Fernando Alonso as he cruised to victory. He also won this race in 2021 which shows that it wasn't a fluke, and with the fastest car on the track to go with his skills another win seems by far the most likely outcome.
It will come down to whether he gets a good start with overtakes so difficult on the street circuit, but at -140 you're unlikely to find better value this season on the best driver with the best car winning the race.

Lando Norris - McLaren (+550)
Norris has had a top season so far, and even claimed the first Grand Prix win of his fledgling career in Miami with a fantastic performance.
He also had a runner-up spot in China and Italy, while claiming a podium finish in Australia also to show that he has a hugely bright future, and a great chance of causing problems in the title race for Verstappen.
Last year in Monaco he had a torrid time, finishing 9th after qualifying in 10th for the race, but he is in far better shape this time around to try and cause an upset.
Verstappen is far and away the favorite for a reason, but Norris will have a tremendous opportunity of getting yet another win if something goes wrong for him and the chance arises for him to capitalize. If he can qualify on pole, or at least the front row of the grid, then he has a chance and there is good value in picking him to win.
Charles Leclerc - Ferrari (+550)
The impending arrival of Lewis Hamilton at Ferrari in 2025 has got the whole team on alert, knowing they have something to prove in order to make sure it's a worthwhile move.
Leclerc is fighting to keep his spot as the number one driver in the team, and so far this season he has been generally in good form. The Monegasque driver has finished on the podium in four different races so far but he is yet to win a race in 2024.
This is his home race, and he slipped to a sixth-place finish in 2023 in a disappointing outing while in 2022 he qualified in pole position before falling to a forth-place finish. He will be desperate for a win at this iconic track and he has a good chance to do it here.
Leclerc is always a good option to back and at +550 there is fantastic value for a driver who has come closest to competing for a title with Verstappen in recent years. He'll have the crowd on his side too so he is definitely one to watch.

Sergio Perez - Red Bull (+1200)
If Verstappen is going to run into trouble somehow, then the obvious driver to step up and take the victory is his teammate Perez who has had a decent season to date.
The Spaniard has claimed four podium finishes in his seven races this season, with three runners-up spots behind his colleague and a third-place finish in China, but he hasn't finished on the podium in any of the last three outings.
Last season in Monaco Perez had an absolute stinker, starting the race in dead last place before climbing up to 16th during the race but he will be keen on improving that this time around.
Red Bull are so far ahead of the rest of the pack that if their top dog fails somewhere, Perez will be confident of stepping up. At +1200, there is amazing value if you want to bank on another bad day for Perez's teammate.
