Miss Universe 2023 favorites
Below you'll find a list of the favorites to win the Miss Universe 2023 contest.
Miss United States - (+1200)
Crowned Miss USA 2023, Noelia Voigt is also the first Venezuelan-American named Miss Utah. Originally from Florida, Noelia has spoken about how she wants to honor her title by breaking barriers for the Hispanic community and connecting with the community in Utah.
Noelia started competing in beauty pageants when she was only 16 years old and she would go on to win her first title that same year, although she unfortunately suffered from bullying in the aftermath of that victory.
Inspired by the story of Madison Whittset, a 9-year-old who committed suicide after being bullied by her school peers in 2018, Noelia would go on to write a children’s book, Maddie the BRAVE, which aimed to promote a platform of anti-bullying.
Along with her writing, she is also involved with the One Love Foundation, an organization that aims to empower children and young adults with the tools to promote anti-bullying and recognize healthy and unhealthy relationships.
She has a great opportunity of ensuring the USA make it back-to-back wins and become the first nation to do that since Venezuela in 2008 and 2009, but it won't be easy.

Miss Ukraine - (+1200)
Angelina Usanova of the Ukraine is someone whose odds are fluctuating greatly, but she has a fantastic chance of success here. With 85 participants, there are so many possible longer shots even to consider. However, Usanova has slightly separated herself from the rest of the field.
The major events occur before the coronation night in the event and thankfully, the results are not leaked because the internet voting takes place on Saturday itself. The Ukrainian representative went with a national costume that embodies her nation’s struggle.
As always, expect some considerable drama with certain contestants. It is almost inevitable. That being said, no one should be surprised if Usanova makes it to the final rounds. She has the ability to win this.
While Usanova will not come out of almost nowhere, there is little doubt she can contend. It would almost be more of a surprise if she did not. The judges will be very keen on the work she has done with war victims in her country after the invasion from Russia, and that will no doubt win her favor with the public too.
It seems like Usanova has as good or a better shot than her competitors at this point. Sure, anything can happen but the Ukrainian has a style, grace, and power that make her difficult to beat. At +1200 there is great value in this bet and she is our pick to get the win.

Miss Puerto Rico - (+1400)
Karla Guilfú Acevedo was crowned Miss Puerto Rico back in August 2023 and in the process gained herself national recognition after finishing as a runner-up at Miss Supranational 2021, an event in which she was also crowned Miss Elegance for her performance.
Guilfú Acevedo is currently pursuing a master’s degree in counseling psychology, and the stunning model has used her platform to advocate for social justice initiatives and mental health education.
Alongside the Ana. G Mendez University, Guilfú Acevedo became a spokesperson of a public service campaign to promote mental health for young people last month and through educational campaigns, Guilfú Acevedo will be available for discussions with students online to help mentor them and give them advice.
Her resumé with her commitment to mental health awareness will no doubt gain points from the judges and after seeing her improvement with interviews and public speaking, expect Guilfú Acevedo to do well at Miss Universe 2023.
Puerto Rico has the third-most titles in the pageant’s history with five and the Puerto Rican entrant will no doubt be giving her all to make it six. At +1400 she should absolutely be looked at as a value bet.
