MLB 2022 American League MVP Award
Vladimir Guerrero Jr (+350)
Projected Batting stats 2022: .305/.389/.584 (.973 OPS), 41 HR, 109 RBI
Guerrero has a hall of fame baseball father, and that incredible bloodline shone through last season with his incredible 48 home runs to prove that he's a world class ball player all on his own and not just by name.
His .311 batting average ranked him third in the AL last season, while there was nobody better on the junior circuit an on base percentage of .401, .601 slugging percentage and a 1.002 OPS.
The Blue Jays recruited well during the off-season and have set him up perfectly for another big season, which could see him claim his maiden MVP crown.
Shohei Ohtani (+325)
Projected Batting stats 2022: .261/.362/.550 (.912 OPS), 38 HR, 94 RBI
Projected Pitching stats 2022: 138.0 IP, 9-6, 3.60 ERA, 160 K's
Considered as the best dual threat in the MLB since the greatest of all-time Babe Ruth over 100 years ago, it's obvious why Ohtani comes into this as the favorite with some bookmakers.
In his first full season last year where he played 155 games, Ohtani exhibited top-tier power with 46 home runs and a league-leading eight triples for the Angels.
With him in the side there is always a chance that the Angels can go all the way in the World Series, and obviously that would help his chances of winning the MVP award for a second consecutive year.
It's very, very hard to ignore a three-to-one betting price for the best player in the world to win the award for the best player over a season.

Mike Trout (+800)
Widely regarded as the face of baseball, Trout has had a torrid time with injuries recently. But he's back fit and healthy again and will be looking to pick up exactly where he left off.
His numbers over his eight year career in the MLB so far are just exceptional: .308/.442/.587 (1.009 OPS), 280 home runs and 736 RBI.
When on it, Trout is the very best five tool player in the entire MLB and his hall of fame career trajectory will continue for as long as he decides to play the game.
Having already won the MVP award three times in his career, a fourth is never out of the question with his abilities and at +800 it's got to be worth a punt.

MLB 2022 National League MVP Award
Juan Soto (+300)
Soto is a tough sell to anyone looking at the team standings, because his Washington Nationals are most people's pick to finish in dead last this season. But the 23-year-old is an MVP award waiting to happen as he continues to light up stat sheets and there's no reason it can't be this year.
A slash line of .322/.471/.572 (1.042 OPS) over the last two seasons, plus 162 game averages of 35 home runs and 108 RBI have him right up there and saw him finish second in the voting for the MVP award last season.
Soto's composure at the plate makes him one of the most complete hitters in the world, hitting 145 walks last year. It's a stacked division, but the stars seem aligned for him to finally take the crown this year.

Bryce Harper (+1000)
The 2021 MVP has got more of a supporting cast around him this year, and that means we could see Harper walk away with back-to-back awards come the end of the 2022 season.
Phildalephia acquired well in the off-season and it should allow Harper to be able to hit more. While that could see his numbers fall off with less walks and a lower percentage, he is likely to see his home run numbers increase to around the 40 mark for the first time since 2015.
At +1000 he is a great shout to compete with Soto for the MVP title and if Philadelphia perform well, his chances will only increase.
