Kansas City Chiefs route to Super Bowl LVII
The Chiefs made light work of the NFL season once again this year, racking up a fantastic 14-3 regular season record to claim top spot in the AFC West.
They suffered their first defeat in game week three against the Indianapolis Colts after wins against the Arizona Cardinals and Los Angeles Chargers in weeks one and two.
A run of seven wins in eight games followed that as they asserted their dominance across the division, before defeat to the Cincinnati Bengals back on December 4th.
They're undefeated since then and are currently on a seven-game win streak heading into the Super Bowl. They claimed their place in the biggest game of the season thanks to victories over the Jacksonville Jaguars in the Divisional Round, before a close win over Cincinnati in the AFC Championship game.
Philadelphia Eagles route to Super Bowl LVII
On the other side of the field will be the Eagles, who were the only other team to match the Chiefs' 14-3 regular season record this year in the NFL.
Philadelphia opened the season with an eight-game winning streak, beating the likes of Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings, Washington Commanders, Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers, before their second meeting with Washington ended in a one-sided defeat.
They responded to that by going on a five-game winning run of their own once again, but then lost two of their final three games before the playoffs, having already secured their spot.
In the playoffs, they have been dominant beating the New York Giants and the San Francisco 49ers 38-7 and 31-7 respectively to earn their place in their first Super Bowl since their 2018 win over the New England Patriots.
NFL picks: Eagles to cover the spread
These are without a doubt the two best teams in the NFL right now, and we're in for a very high-level game of football when they take to the field.
Both teams are defensively solid with an excellent quarterback leading their offensive charge, with Patrick Mahomes looking to make it a successful return to the big game after he saw his team dominated by Tom Brady's Tampa Bay Buccaneers last time back in 2021.
Defensively this season though, it's the Eagles who have been the most impressive.
They conceded just 14 points combined in the playoffs so far, while they've been able to score for fun all season long. Their regular season record was simply sublime, and likely would have been even better if they didn't rest players in the final game.
Being able to get the Eagles to claim victory at just -131 is a great price, but backing them to do it by a field goal or more is even better and means you can claim extra cash in the process.

NFL picks: Back the under
Kansas City and Philadelphia have an incredible array of offensive weapons, but they also have two top-of-the-range defensive units headlined by two nasty pass rushes that have been fantastic all season.
The Chiefs just limited the Bengals to 20 points, which is quite the feat considering they are an offense that was running through their opposition in the second half of the schedule.
In fact, Kansas City has allowed 20 points or less in four of its last five games going back to Week 16.
Even more impressive than that is Philadelphia, who may have caught a lucky break with the early injury to San Francisco QB Brock Purdy in the NFC Championship game, but we can’t sell this stop unit short.
It completely nullified the Giants for only seven points in the Divisional Round and has given up 20 or fewer points in five of the previous six outings.
Each of the last four Super Bowl games has seen the Under land, and both of these teams will be relying on their defense to win them this title rather than their offense, so that's a great place to start your betting if you're not sure which team will be victorious and that is why so we are going for that as our NFL pick.
