The final tennis grand slam tournament of 2023 takes place over the next two weeks, and Novak Djokovic will be looking to make it three out of four grand slams this year.
Some of the world's best players will be present though, as they look to crown themselves in one of the sport's major tournaments of 2023, going head to head against each other for the honor of claiming the trophy and the prize money.

Below you'll find a list of the favorites to win the Men's 2023 US Open tennis tournament.
Novak Djokovic - (+140)
Djokovic is the 23-time grand slam champion and without a doubt one of the very best tennis players of all-time, so him being the favorite to come out on top of this tournament really shouldn't be a shock.
Djokovic silenced his doubters with a strong showing at Roland Garros, capturing his 23rd career Grand Slam title with little issue in France. That followed on from a dominant win in Australia, meaning he won the first two Grand Slam events of the year while dropping only three sets in the process.
He then made it to the final at Wimbledon too before suffering a five-set defeat to Carlos Alcaraz, which prevented him extending his record at SW19.
He managed to get some revenge for that with the Cincinnati Masters as he claimed a win in the final last week and comes into this in great form. But having not won this event since 2019, it's understandable to have some question marks over whether he can do it. However with his quality, it's incredibly difficult to go against him on the biggest stage.

Carlos Alcaraz - (+175)
Alcaraz figured out how to bring his best form to the grass surface as he claimed a first Wimbledon championship to add to the 2022 US Open title he claimed.
Since then though he has, made it to the semi-final of the French Open and been crowned world number one too, and this is the surface he is the best and most comfortable on.
Alcaraz took back the world No. 1 ranking with his first career grass-court title at Queen's Club, and after then beating Djokovic in the Wimbledon final the three-set defeat at the Cincinnati Masters last week will be in the back of his mind heading into this tournament.
At +175 there is decent value in backing him, and barring a stunning upset many people will be predicting that there's another rematch between himself and Djokovic in the final again. So if you're in that group too then you're basically getting +175 on Alcaraz to beat him in another Grand Slam final, which is great value.
Daniil Medvedev - (+800)
Medvedev's best surface and the venue of his only Grand Slam victory in his career means there is a shout for the Russian to be successful once again in the US Open.
Last season the Russian reached four finals on grass and went 2-2 for wins and losses, but he was absent from Wimbledon. His Grand Slam run didn't go so well as he reached the fourth round in both the French and US Open having reached the final in Australia. This season he has struggled again.
He reached only the first round of the French Open and third round of the Australian, although he then made the semi-finals at Wimbledon. So far he has a 49-11 record for 2023, but he'll be confident that his huge serve and good footwork will stand him in good stead to compete at the business end of the tournament once more.
There's no doubting that a hard court is where he's most at home, but his recent performances haven't been the strongest elsewhere. That lack of momentum could cost him in the latter rounds, but a shock in his side of the draw could see him get to the final and then anything can happen.
Alexander Zverev - (+2500)
The German may be the world number 12 right now and without a Grand Slam win in his career, but at +2500 you'd be silly to overlook him.
Zverev's season hasn't been the best so far, going 38-20 for 2023 while also being eliminated in the first week at both the Australian Open and Wimbledon earlier this year. But on a hard court at the French Open he made it through to the semi-final.
In fact, his last two appearances at the US Open saw him make it to the final (2020) where he dropped a two-set lead against Dominic Thiem and then the semi-final (2021) where he lost to Novak Djokovic. He missed the 2022 event.
But he has shown that he is more than capable of shining at this tournament and it could be the time to go one step further and finally claim his first Grand Slam championship.
