Week 17 was a fairly low-scoring week with 10 of the 16 matchups going under the total. The lowest-scoring game was 26 points: Titans 16, Texans 10 and Giants 20, Redskins 6. The highest scoring game was Green Bay 33, Chicago 28 for the NFC North title; that total was set at 51.

The lowest-scoring game of Week 16 was Buffalo's 19-0 home victory over Miami; the Dolphins were 1-point dogs and the total was set at 42. The highest-scoring was Pittsburgh's 38-31 win in the snow at Green Bay. Overall, favorites were 10-5-1 against the spread for the week. The push was Tennessee at -4 beating Jacksonville 20-16.

Overall favorites were 8-7-1 against the spread in Week 15. The over hit in 10 of the 16 games. The lowest-scoring game was Seattle's 23-0 win at the New York Giants. That was the only shutout of the week. The Giants had just 181 yards and Eli Manning threw five interceptions.

The biggest favorites of Week 14 were the Denver Broncos at -13 against visiting Tennessee and the Broncos won 51-28 (over 49.5) in the highest-scoring game of the week. That total was helped by Denver's Matt Prater, who kicked an NFL-record 64-yard field goal as time expired in the first half. Overall, favorites covered 10 of the 16 games and the over hit in 11 of the 16 games in a high-scoring week.

Overall in Week 13, favorites covered nine of the 16 games while the under hit in nine of the 16. The highest-scoring game was Patriots 34, Texans 31 (over 49) and Falcons 34, Bills 31 (over 48). The lowest-scoring was Dolphins 23, Jets 3 (under 39.5).

Overall in Week 12, underdogs covered in eight of the 14 games and the under hit in eight of the 14. The lowest-scoring game was that Jaguars-Texans game (under 44) and the highest scoring was San Diego 41, Kansas City 38 (over 43).

The highest-scoring game of Week 11 was Tampa Bay 48, Atlanta 21 (over 43.5), while the lowest-scoring was Miami 20, San Diego 16 (under 44.5). Overall, nine of the 15 games went over the total. The favorites covered nine of the 15.

Underdogs and favorites each covered seven of the 14 games in Week 10. St. Louis was by far the biggest dog to cover, winning 38-8 in Houston as a 10.5-point underdog. The 14 games also split 7-7 on the over/under.
