The British Open will take its 2019 championship to County Antrim, Northern Ireland.
For the first time in 68 years, the competition for the Claret Jug will be contested over the Dunluce Links at Royal Portrush.
England's Max Faulkner won the tournament the last time it was played here in 1951.

Over its history, Wimbledon has witnessed many players dominate centre court. Rod Laver in the 1960s, Bjorn Borg in the 1970s, Boris Becker in the 1980s and Pete Sampras in the 1990s all took their turns as kings of the All-England Lawn Tennis Club.

The most anticipated NBA Draft Lottery since LeBron James entered the league in 2003 was held May 14 in Chicago. The grand prize was Duke Blue Devils sensation Zion Williamson and the winners were the New Orleans Pelicans, who bucked the NBA Draft Lottery Odds to gain the top pick. Williamson will assuredly be the No. 1 pick of the 2019 NBA Draft when it's conducted June 20 at the Barclays Center in New York.

It's down to a best-of-three series for the Stanley Cup. The Boston Bruins and St. Louis Blues are deadlocked at two wins apiece four games into the best-of-seven Stanley Cup final series. It's been an odd-even series so far. The Bruins were winners in Games 1 and 3, while the Blues took the victory in Games 2 and 4. Two of the three remaining games are slated for Boston's TD Banknorth Garden.

History is being made during the NBA Finals. The Golden State Warriors are playing in their fifth straight final series, joining the Boston Celtics, who played in 10 successive finals from 1957-66, as the only NBA teams to appear in the finals in that many years in a row. But their opponents, the Toronto Raptors, are also a history-making squad. They are the first team from Canada to ever play in the NBA Finals.

Last year, Gareth Bale brought about Liverpool's demise, scoring twice in Real Madrid's 3-1 victory over the Reds in the 2018 UEFA Champions League final. This year, it will be Bale's old team that looks to get the better of Liverpool. Tottenham Hotspur will face Liverpool in the final on June 1 at Madrid's Wanda Metropolitano Stadium. It's the first all-England final since Manchester United beat Chelsea in 2007-08.
