Season so far
Tampa Bay started the season in terrific fashion with back-to-back wins in the opening two game weeks.
First they defeated the Minnesota Vikings 20-17 in a close fought game at the US Bank Stadium, before following that up with a home win against the Chicago Bears with a more convincing 27-17 scoreline.
In week 3 the Philadelphia Eagles put them to the sword and handed them their first loss of the season 11-2, but an emphatic win followed in week 4 thanks to a 26-9 score against the New Orleans Saints before a bye in week 5.
Since then they have really struggled for form and lost each of their last four games including two at home, getting dominated by the Detroit Lions 20-6 and then losing a close game 13-16 against the Atlanta Falcons. That was followed by defeats on the road to the Buffalo Bills (18-24) before a hugely entertaining game against the Houston Texans which ended in a 37-39 defeat last time out.
Tennessee on the other hand have blown hot and cold all season and failed to build any momentum, having not won back-to-back games all season.
They lost their opening game of the season 15-16 to the New Orleans Saints, before claiming an overtime win over the Los Angeles Chargers 27-24 in week 2. Cleveland Browns then thrashed them in week 3 with a 3-27 score, before a win over the Cincinnati Bengals by the same scoreline made them 2-2.
Back to back defeats to the Indianapolis Colts (16-23) and Baltimore Ravens (16-24) followed before a bye in week 7 which gave them the chance to reset. Week 8 saw them back in the win column thanks to a 28-23 win over the Atlanta Falcons, but they fell to defeat again last time out as the Pittsburgh Steelers claimed a 16-20 win.
NFL Picks: Tampa Bay Buccaneers -1 @ -105
With the upcoming NFL matchup between the Tennessee Titans and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, point spread bets are a popular option for sports bettors.
Neither team has particularly impressed this season, but with the points spread so close at just one point home advantage could play a huge advantage. Tennessee are yet to win a game on the road so far this season, with all three of their wins coming at the Nissan Stadium and all five of their defeats coming on the road, including a trip to London in week 6 against the Ravens.
Interestingly Tampa have only won one home game this season, going 1-3 at the Raymond James Stadium and they have a better record on the road going 2-2. But when both teams are struggling like this, the Buccs will have the edge especially with a one point spread.
Tampa are averaging 19.75 points per game this season while Tennesse are averaging 18.5 points per game. That alone should be convincing enough to cover this spread at -105 for the home team. But add in the fact that Tennesse also average 20 points per game against, and it's enough to get us to make it our best NFL picks for the game.

NFL Picks: Over 39 total points @ -110
The upcoming NFL matchup between the Tennessee Titans and Tampa Bay Buccaneers is set to be an exciting clash.
Based on their recent performances, both teams possess strong offenses that can score points. It is predicted that the total score will exceed the set point, making the over bet an enticing option for bettors. With skilled quarterbacks and talented receivers on both teams, there is a high likelihood of a high-scoring game.
Two Tennessee games this season have surpassed this total, one of them in overtime, while three Tampa games have surpassed the total including the most recent game. Both teams average 20+ points against them per game and while their offensive numbers fall just short of the total, with the defenses both so poor there is more chance of the over landing than both limiting each other to less than their average.
Back the over to land in an entertaining game between two pretty poor sides, which should open up the chances of more points.
