NCAA Baseball World Series favorites
Below you'll find a list of favorites to the win the 2024 NCAA Baseball World Series.
Tennessee Volunteers - (-115)
It's a boring pick and they're the outright favorites for a reason, because none of the other teams can match the Volunteers’ depth on both sides of the baseball.
It’s a team that’s been here before after three appearances in the last four CWS and it would seemingly take something quite special for them not to finally win the big one.
Tennessee is making its third CWS appearance in four years after yet another dominant regular season. The Vols went 55-12 in the the regular season and finished tied for first in the loaded SEC East with CWS third-favorite Kentucky at 22-8.
They rolled into Omaha after winning the SEC Tournament, then scoring a total of 64 runs - with at least eight runs scored in each matchup - in six games across the Knoxville regional and their Super Regional tilt against Evansville. That firepower is a big reason this team enters the CWS as the favorite, and they have shone so far.
They opened their tournament with a thrilling 12-11 win over Florida State in a game they struggled in, before a dominant 6-1 with over North Carolina most recently. They're outscoring their rivals and have the deepest roster, so even at -115 they're the team to back to go all the way.

Texas A&M Aggies - (+155)
Texas A&M has a very good lineup, even without Braden Montgomery and Shane Sdao, who are missing out with respective injuries. With them in contention, the team had a far better chance of matching up with Tennessee.
The Aggies breezed through both the Bryan-College Station regional, where they won three games by a combined score of 21-6, and their Super Regional battle with Oregon. A&M scored a total of 25 runs on the Ducks to win that series comfortably in two games, and this team is heavily favored to make it to the finals.
They earned a tough 3-2 win over Florida in their opening game before a fantastic 5-1 win over Kentucky last time out, and they are well placed to take advantage of any mistakes Tennessee may make should they meet or the favorites fall away before that.

Kentucky Wildcats - (+1400)
Kentucky wins in a variety of ways, and that makes them a threat to the title. If Kentucky keeps pitching well, they are going to be a tough out.
The Wildcats' offense is led by Nick Lopez, Ryan Waldschmidt and Ryan Nicholson, and they have a few great options on the mound.
The Wildcats' pitching gives this team a legit shot to win it all. While most games in all eight Super Regionals were shootouts, Kentucky shut out Oregon State 10-0 in Game 1 of its series against Oregon, then completed the best-of-three series win with a 3-2 victory on June 9. They're in fantastic form heading into the latter stages too.
Kentucky earned a strong 5-4 win in their tournament opener over North Carolina State before defeat to Texas A&M last time out, but a clash with Florida sees them as favorites and then anything can happen. Don't rule them out.
Florida Gators - (+2500)
The Gators have been as impressive as any team in the NCAA Tournament, have Omaha experience and have the best player in the field in Jac Caglianone, who is likely to be a top-five pick in the MLB draft.
Their regular season record wasn't the greatest but there’s never been doubt about their talent or their ability to beat top competition. They previously lacked consistency, but Florida looks like it has figured out a formula that works and won’t be overwhelmed by the big stage.
Florida went just 34-28 (13-17 SEC) overall this year, but they're on a tear after going 3-1 in the Stillwater Regional to advance to a Super Regional hosted by Clemson.
College baseball fans learned as recently as 2022 how dangerous a red-hot SEC team can be in Omaha. That year's national champ, Ole Miss, barely made the NCAA Tournament following an unimpressive regular season. At +2500 there is tremendous value in backing the Gators to go all the way.
Florida won their lost their first game 3-2 against Texas A&M before a 5-4 win over North Carolina State. If they get to the latter stages, they may well be worth a flutter.
