The Kentucky Derby is held at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky, the Preakness Stakes is at “Old Hilltop”, Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, Maryland and the Belmont Stakes is held at Belmont Park in Elmont, New York. These are some of the best horse racing tracks in the country.

To commemorate each of these special races, each track has developed a signature cocktail for the 21-and-over crowd. In Kentucky at the Derby, the iconic mint julep is served and that drink has become has symbolic of the Run for the Roses as big hats and the Twin Spires. At the Preakness, the drink of choice is the Black-Eyed Susan and over at Belmont Park for the Belmont Stakes, folks imbibe on the Belmont Jewel.
