NHL Picks Parlay

The Edmonton Oilers did something this season that only five visiting NHL teams have accomplished - they won a game in regulation at Minnesota's XL Energy Center. The Oilers, however, haven't been so lucky against the Wild on home ice. Minnesota has won eight in a row over the Oilers at Edmonton. The Oilers haven't beaten the Wild at home since a 4-1 verdict on Dec. 22, 2011.

When the NHL season got underway, not many would have touted the Calgary Flames and New Jersey Devils as contenders, but both teams find themselves situated in playoff positions today as they clash at the the Prudential Center. On the other hand, the vast majority would have pegged the Chicago Blackhawks as postseason certainties, but as they face the Dallas Stars, the Blackhawks are seven points of a playoff position.
